We’re happy to help you find the perfect fit. Our plans include everything needed to build your home, but building codes and permitting requirements vary by region. Before applying for a permit or starting construction, always check with your local building official to confirm exactly what’s required. We’re here to help clarify what your local authority wants, and we’re happy to talk you through the process.

Engineering is region-specific; our plans don’t include structural engineering because requirements are different everywhere (due to soil, weather, etc.). Most areas require a local engineer to review and stamp plans. If you need, we can help you find a local engineer — free of charge.

All plans are delivered electronically as a PDF, ready to print on 24"×36" paper at your local print shop (or we can send directly to your printer for easy pickup). Want to make changes with your own architect or engineer? CAD files are available for purchase. These are professional digital files for design pros — ask us if you’re not sure whether you need them.

Absolutely. Most clients want some modifications — sometimes small, sometimes major. We include up to five rounds of revisions in the customization process (though most clients need far fewer). After that, we’re happy to keep working at an hourly rate with a separate agreement if you’d like.

Most modifications are done within a week. Once you send in your request, you’ll get sketches showing your changes within 48 hours. For each new round, you’ll get updated drawings, so you’re always in the loop.

Yes! You can always come back for further customizations. You’ll only pay the additional customization fee — never the full plan set fee again. __________ for details.
